I am honored to have been invited as a Plenary Speaker and Guest of Honor at the Eleventh International Conference on “Fermented Foods, Health Status and Social Well-being,” organized by SASNET-FF in collaboration with North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Assam Agricultural University (AAU), Lund University, Kamdhenu University, Rajiv Gandhi University, Gut Microbiota and Probiotic Science Foundation (India), Probiotic Association of India, BIO-NEST, and CTEF. The conference took place in Shillong, Meghalaya, India, on November 21-22, 2023.
Plenary Address
During this prestigious event, I delivered a plenary talk on “Probiotics and Postbiotics in Traditional Fermented Foods: Effective Processing and Delivery for Biotherapy and Functional Foods.” My presentation focused on the role of probiotics and postbiotics in enhancing the health benefits of traditional fermented foods, emphasizing effective processing methods and their application in biotherapy and functional food development.
