I am thrilled to announce the successful co-organization of “The GreenTech Seminar 2024” on January 31, 2024, in collaboration with Food Passport Thailand. The seminar, themed “From Farm to Fork: Blockchain’s Revolution in Food Safety Assurance,” was attended by over 170 participants, making it a vibrant platform for knowledge exchange and innovation.
Event Highlights:
- Insightful Presentation: The seminar featured a compelling presentation by Mr. Passakorn Pannok, Chief Executive Officer of Bitkub Blockchain Technology Co. Ltd., who spoke on “Blockchain Technology in Modern Food Safety Management.” His presentation highlighted the transformative potential of blockchain in enhancing transparency, traceability, and efficiency in food safety.
- Panel Discussion: A dynamic panel discussion on “Economic Implications of Implementing Blockchain in Food Safety” was moderated by Ms. Tina Rodvong. The panel included esteemed experts such as Ms. Yong Ran Hur, Regional Coordinator for Opportunities for Sustainable Development Goals, UNEP; Prof. Anil Kumar Anal, Food Safety and Bioprocess Expert from AIT; Dr. Chantri Polprasert, Data Science and AI Expert, AIT; Ms. Witchaya Traichok, Co-founder of FarmConnect Asia Co. Ltd.; and Ms. Niorn Kiatdamrong, Chief Operating Officer of Bitkub Blockchain Technology Co., Ltd.
- Practical Demonstrations: The seminar also featured a live demonstration by the Food Passport Thailand team, showcasing “Using E-wallet and POS in Blockchain Food Safety System” presented by Ms. Punchaya Rasksasakul, Mr. Prasit Pongsoon, and Mr. Entony. Additionally, Dr. Khwanchol Ninlaor and Mr. Ranjit Singh presented research on “Using Blockchain/AI Technology in the Food Industry.”
