Keynote Speaker and Guest of Honor at SInFoCoN-23

I am honored to have been invited as a Keynote Speaker and Guest of Honor at the International Conference on “Sustainable Innovation in Food Safety, Health, and Nutrition (SInFoCoN-23),” organized by the Faculty of Dairy Technology at West Bengal University of Animal & Fishery Sciences, West Bengal, India, from December 22-23, 2023. This event was held under the aegis of the ICAR-World Bank Funded NAHEP (IG) Project.

Keynote Address

During the Curtain Raiser Session of this prestigious conference, I presented on the topic “Emerging Trends for Enhancing Nutrition, Bioactivity, Techno-functionalities, and Bioavailability of Food Components.” My presentation focused on the latest advancements and trends in optimizing the nutritional and functional properties of food components to improve health outcomes.

Conference Highlights

The conference was inaugurated by esteemed dignitaries, including the Honorable Minister of State for ARD and the Department of Fisheries, West Bengal, the Deputy Director General of ICAR, and the National Director of the NAHEP Project. The event was graced by senior officials from various ministries, ICAR, government organizations, enterprises, and donor agencies.

The conference also brought together academics, researchers, students, enterprises, and development agencies from around the globe, facilitating valuable discussions and knowledge exchange on sustainable innovations in food safety and nutrition.
