During this pivotal workshop, I presented on \u201cThe Impacts of Plastic Pollution and Microplastics on the Food Chain and Health.\u201d<\/strong> My talk provided insights into the significant issues and challenges associated with plastic pollution and microplastics, particularly their effects on food systems and human health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Event Significance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n This workshop, organized by the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP), and the Global Partnership for Plastic Pollution and Marine Litter, was a valuable platform for discussing innovative tools and protocols for monitoring riverine plastic pollution.
