This review paper explores the crucial role of bioactive molecules\u2014such as proteins, peptides, essential fatty acids (e.g., Omega-3), vitamins, minerals, and probiotics\u2014in enhancing immunity and promoting better health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Highlights<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Focus on Bioactive Molecules:<\/strong> The paper provides an in-depth analysis of how these nutrients contribute to immune system function and overall health.<\/li><li><strong>Context of the Current Pandemic:<\/strong> It reflects on how immunocompromised individuals have been significantly impacted during the ongoing pandemic, emphasizing the importance of robust immunity.<\/li><li><strong>Origins and Motivation:<\/strong> The paper was conceptualized following insightful questions from Miss Anisha Karna, a final-year medical student at Chitwan Medical College (CMC), Nepal. Her curiosity about the relationship between these nutrients, immunity, and their mechanisms inspired this comprehensive review.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Acknowledgements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Congratulations to all contributors\u2014Miss Anisha Karna, Mr. Sushil Koirala, Mr. Engr Muhammad Umar, and Ms. Sarina Pradhan Thapa\u2014for their excellent inputs and support.
