In my presentation, I delved into \u201cAgro-Industrial Waste and Bio-Circular Green Economy: Perspectives and Technological Interventions.\u201d This seminar was an enriching platform to discuss the Bio-Circular Green Economy (BCG) model, which is central to the Thailand 4.0 initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The BCG model emphasizes the production of renewable biological resources and their conversion into value-added products. It is expected to be a significant topic at the 2022 Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Ministerial meeting, chaired by Thailand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Organized by Leading Institutions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The seminar was organized by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Thailand, in collaboration with UNDP, NSTDA, AIT, and Mahidol University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Distinguished Speakers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Other distinguished speakers included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Prof. Emeritus Dr. Kraisid Tontisirin<\/strong>, Senator of Parliament of Thailand &amp; Former Director of Food and Nutrition Division, UN-FAO Rome<\/li><li><strong>Dr. Sridhar Dharmapuri<\/strong>, UN FAO Thailand<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The seminar was moderated by <strong>Dr. Monthip Sriratana<\/strong>, Former Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Thailand, while the panel discussion was moderated by <strong>Mr. Robert Dobias<\/strong>, Senior Advisor on Climate Change to the ADB Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>My Contribution<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>My research focuses on developing technology to enhance the value of agro-industrial waste, facilitating technology transfer for commercialization, and addressing policy implications for industrial benefits.
